Chris Landis is a licensed architect in four states—DC, Virginia, Maryland, and New York, a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the Remodelers Advantage Roundtable (RAR). Chris is also a licensed contractor in DC, Maryland and Virginia.
After graduating with an MA in architecture from Columbia University and before founding Landis Architects/Builders, Chris worked with Fortune 500 companies, responsible for the design and construction of office spaces in high rise multi-use buildings and worked on complex international projects. He was nominated by then Mayor Adrian Fenty for his first term on DC’s Historic Preservation Review Board and by Mayor Muriel Bowser for his current term. He is a past president of the DC chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI).
Chris has a depth of experience in design, management, and hands-on construction expertise. He and his brother have been members of Remodeler’s Advantage Roundtables for over 10 years, a group of like-sized remodeling companies from around the country that share best practices to maximize performance.
