Breaking the Bottleneck

How Crisis Forced Us to Build a Better Company

Even after stepping away from the tools, many owners still remain the bottleneck. Every estimate, design decision, and client crisis continues to run through them.

In this powerful and deeply personal session, Sean Canada and Kimberly Canada share how a life-threatening health crisis forced them to completely rethink leadership, communication, and systems inside their growing design-build firm.

After spending weeks in the ICU fighting for his life, Sean’s wife Kimberly led the business, cared for their family, and kept everything moving forward.

What they learned during that season changed the way they run their company forever.

Join Sean and Kimberly as they share the mindset shifts, communication practices, and operational systems that helped them move from owner-dependent chaos to stronger, team-driven leadership.

Mentor Lounge Access

You’ve built a more mature business, and not every Summit session is going to hit the same way it might for someone earlier in the journey.

We get it. That’s why we created the Mentor Lounge, a private space for Mentor members to connect, network, and share ideas with members from the other Mentor groups throughout the main Summit day.

The lounge will be open Tuesday from 1:00 – 4:00 PM and Wednesday from 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM. Stop in between sessions, during sessions that are not the right fit, or whenever you want to have a more advanced peer conversation. You’ll also have a private lunch buffet in the lounge, along with two Mentor-exclusive sessions during the breakout blocks. Think of it as your home base for the day.
