Rick Strachan has spent over four decades with media, data, and event firms serving the remodeling and construction industry. He spent nearly 30 years as Group President and Publisher at Hanley Wood, overseeing several media groups and serving as liaison to key industry associations.
He now works with Informa Markets Construction Events, including JLC Live, Build Show Live, and World of Concrete. Rick serves on Harvard’s Remodeling Futures Steering Committee, is a past Executive Committee member of HIRI, and received NARI’s President’s Award.
He also facilitates the MasterMind Roundtable, a peer group of firms serving the construction industry and other sectors.

You’ve built a more mature business, and not every Summit session is going to hit the same way it might for someone earlier in the journey.
We get it. That’s why we created the Mentor Lounge, a private space for Mentor members to connect, network, and share ideas with members from the other Mentor groups throughout the main Summit day.
The lounge will be open Tuesday from 1:00 – 4:00 PM and Wednesday from 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM. Stop in between sessions, during sessions that are not the right fit, or whenever you want to have a more advanced peer conversation. You’ll also have a private lunch buffet in the lounge, along with two Mentor-exclusive sessions during the breakout blocks. Think of it as your home base for the day.
