Gates, a Design Consultant at Blackdog’s Salem location, approaches each remodel like a puzzle! She loves coming up with creative and beautiful ways to marry function and aesthetics and tackles each design challenge with a solution-oriented mindset and a smile.

She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Delaware but found her true passion in the world of home remodeling. Gates first honed her skills in cabinet, tile and counter sales before transitioning into turn-key design/build.
